Manager Sales Operations
Location: Amsterdam

The role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager Sales Operations to safeguard and optimize our sales processes, demand planning and order management activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of a B2B environment, coupled with expertise in information management, process optimization and IT systems. This role requires a proactive individual who can provide strategic directions, effectively streamline operations, drive automation initiatives and provide valuable insights through business intelligence tools.   

The responsibilities:

  • Lead team of Sales Operations specialist and develop their skills and competences.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and demand planning strategies to align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the order management process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales forecasts and production schedules.
  • Evaluate existing sales processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency, productivity and overall performance.
  • Lead automation initiatives and identify opportunities for implementing sales automation tools.
  • Communicate clearly the progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

Who are we looking for:
  • Proven experience (+5 years) in sales operations management in a B2B setting, preferably in the manufacturing industry (experience in sales channels between Manufacturer/OEM and dealer network sales)
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of driving change and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communicator with influencing skills to manage relations with internal as well as external key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
  • Proficiency in IT systems and software relevant to sales operations, such as CRM, ERP and BI tools.
  • Preferably a APICS (or similar) certification
