As a Teamleader Production, you will lead the daily coordination of one Flow-unit (consisting of 10 to 25 employees) within the Production department and escalate structural or cross-unit issues to the Supervisor. The goal is to produce construction machinery and/or parts for construction machinery, according to the HCME standard quality and technical instructions with respect for the environment, safe, in time and in a cost-efficient manner.
Lead, coach and motivate team members in daily activities
Inspect training requirements and communicate to Supervisor
Set expectations to team members
Provide clear and effective feedback to team members and to Supervisors aimed on improvements
Promote ownership and commitment
Give instructions and advice
Take care of a good working environment and discipline
Set priorities for the work to be carried out within the Flow Unit
Support Supervisor by appraisal discussions
Execute the production planning and ensure achievements of daily targets
Report problems within the Flow-unit (e.g. interruptions of equipment) to Supervisor
Holding staff meetings
Enforcing compliance with the company rules, maintenance procedures, and the health and safety regulations
Solve operational problems and escalate when needed to Supervisor
Make sure that the ISO-, environmental-, quality- and safety regulations are known and followed
Make sure that employees work according the standards
Plan tasks and daily activities
Guide employees during reintegration by sick leave and escalate if needed to HR of Supervisor
Stimulating and guaranteeing compliance with rules and procedures regarding safety, health and ergonomic circumstances
Ensuring compliance with the quality instructions and procedures by team members
Adhere to set cycle times, register deviations +/- 10%
Work according to production planning provided
Checking achieved targets, coaching employees who realize deviations of +/- 10% of the target.
Ensuring flow within the flow unit as well contributing to production department flow
Support with implementing necessary adjustments to production planning in consultation with Supervisor
Tracking the efficiency of the department based on the data registered in the computer or provided by Supervisor or Data Analyst
Enhance the continuous improvement culture within the team
Stimulating/guaranteeing effective communication and collaboration within the Flow-unit
5+ of experience in a similar environment
Fluent in both English and Dutch
Compensation built of a yearly gross salary between 46’000 euros and 61’000 euros (including holiday allowance and based on experience) + a guaranteed bonus (4%)
27 days of leave + 13 extra collective days of leave (ADV)
