As a Case Manager, you ensure effective case management of illness and absenteeism across the entire organization, with the objective of reducing sickness absence, supporting sustainable employability, and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and internal policies.
Central point of contact for all illness and absenteeism cases.
Manage cases from day 1 to full return or long‑term procedures.
Ensure compliance with Wet verbetering poortwachter.
Coordinate with employees, managers, occupational health services (Arbo service), and company doctors.
Keep administration and reports accurate and up to date.
Advise managers on illness cases, reintegration, and legal duties.
Train and keep managers updated on absenteeism policies and best practices.
Act as sparring partner for complex cases.
Lead the organizational Illness Reduction Project.
Analyze absenteeism data and identify risks and trends.
Develop and implement prevention and wellbeing initiatives.
Work with HR, Operations, HSE, and external partners.
Monitor frequent absence patterns and signal cases early.
Support managers in conducting conversations and follow‑up, in line with internal policies, legal frameworks, and privacy regulations.
Ensure correct documentation and compliance with policies.
Provide periodic reports and insights.
Support wellbeing and employability initiatives.
Promote physical and mental health awareness.
Act as HR knowledge point for wellbeing topics.
Maintain accurate case files and dashboards.
Support audits and ensure confidentiality of all data.
3+ years of experience in a similar position
Fluent in both Dutch and English
Compensation built of a yearly gross salary between 49’000 euros and 71’000 euros (including holiday allowance and based on experience) + a guaranteed bonus (4%)
27 days of leave + 13 extra collective days of leave (ADV)
