Automation Support Engineer
Location: Amsterdam
The role:
The Automation Support Engineer is responsible for supporting all automated data flows and setting up new flows in collaboration with business users. The engineer ensures a high-quality service provision and coordinates timely delivery and continuous improvement of automation services to our internal customers.
Activities:
Service coordination
- Provision of automation and interface services to various departments within the organization.
- Day-to-day management of automated dataflows and interfaces, including follow-up of incidents and disruptions
- issue tracking resolution, service level tracking
- Create automation flows for users, based on analysis of requirement and process with the user
- Support, collaborate, and coordinate IT activities with internal and external stakeholders
Improvements & support
- Discuss additional automation requirements with business users and propose solutions
- Provide automation flows set-up
- Support business setting up additional automation
- Coordinate development of new interfaces on our Middleware
- Organize trainings and facilitate communication and understanding between business & suppliers.
- Create and maintain documentation regarding automation, standards, procedures manual, and e-learnings
- Escalate complex issues to other IT personnel or management and propose solutions
The responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day service provisioning to HCME and affiliates with automation, regarding interfacing and automation
- Responsible for security and compliance under his or her responsibility
- Responsible for timely delivery of changes and new request to the business
- Assess current processes by collaborating with various departments to identify automation opportunities.
- Design and implement automation solutions to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Create and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for automation projects and develop best practices and guidelines for future initiatives.
- Integrate automation solutions seamlessly into existing systems, ensuring compatibility and interoperability with current infrastructure.
- Provide training and support to the business on the use and maintenance of developed automations. Develop user manuals and training materials to facilitate knowledge transfer.
