System Configuration Engineer
Location: Amsterdam

The role:
The goal of this job is to convert the Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM) information into a Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) based on factory processes, as well as the Material Master for production and purchasing.

The responsibilities:

• Creating and managing the structure for the Super BOM as well as the Variant Configurator
• Systematic management the progress of the processing of changes
• Checking MRP data to verify the input process and to decide on process improvements
• Assimilating modifications that are received in MRP
• Analysing MRP data to decide on corrective and preventive improvements to the BOM and Material Master
• Instructing and supporting colleagues with questions relating to MRP and department processes
• Advising the Manager about structural changes in the MRP data
• Implementing structural changes in the MRP data
• Providing guidance on a project-basis

Who are we looking for:

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Statistics or a similar field
• Good knowledge of the Variant Configurator
• Knowledge of MRP and the data associated with that
• Good knowledge of the English language (spoken and written)
• 2+ years of experience in a similar area
